FTCH TANYRHALLT BLUE BLOODS x RICHFIELDS QUILL OF THE CHASE NRD

FCI Registered Labrador Retriever Puppies in Hawkesbury, NSW, Australia

We are very excited to announce that my beautiful Quill has been AI’d to FTCH Troy this week. If successful, an all black litter will be due in early September.

Quill turned two years old in February and is currently one win away from her Restricted retrieving title. She debuted in All Age this year with a 3rd place. I’ve no doubt that, had she had the good fortune to be teamed with a more talented trainer and handler than me, she would be a lot further along already.

Despite limited trialling, Quill finished in the top 20 on the National Retrieving Trial Leaderboard in 2024 and was also the Working Gundog Club’s Novice Dog of the Year.

Quill is the consummate Labrador Retriever: social with dogs and people, highly biddable and responsive, and lives to retrieve. Quill is a team player, always looking to please and gives 100% effort. She has a super water attitude and is a naturally honest line runner in varying terrain. In the house, she is calm, composed, affectionate and immaculately clean.

Troy is based in the UK with his owner Wendy Glue. Although he’s an older, retired gentleman now, he is well known to be a high drive, biddable dog with a big motor and super game finding ability. He qualified for the IGL championship twice and was runner up in 2019. He made up his FTCH as a 3 year old.

Troy is described by those who know him as a kind and social dog and every bit a “true Labrador” in type and temperament. Troy has consistently produced pups of outstanding quality with a number of breeders opting to repeat their combinations.

The Troy x Quill combination promises to produce puppies that would excel in any search, detection, sporting or hunting field. It is a gift to own a dog that makes you look forward to training every day; it is our goal to make this magic available to you.

We raise our puppies in the home. I undertake Early Neurological Stimulation, Early Scent Introduction and follow the Puppy Culture Program.

I welcome all enquiries. Please be assured (or warned) that I can talk about Quill all day!
