Pete is an 80 pound Black Labrador Retriever who is completely health tested and is standing at stud in Lincoln, Nebraska. He carries chocolate. Pete's sire is '09 NAFC FC AFC Barton Creek's O'Mustad, Call name Hook. Hook needs no introduction. You will not find him in another pedigree this close.   Pete is the perfect family companion, hunting dog and competes in AKC Field Trials. Pete's puppies are big, have nice structure, heads and ears. They are absolutely beautiful. Puppies from previous litters are currently serving as family companions, hunting dogs are with professional trainers.   Pete was ranked the #42 All Age Amateur Labrador Retriever in just seven trials in the country in 2024. He took a 4th and a Jam in the Amateur earlier this year. Pete was the #22 Derby Dog in the Nation in 2021 with just five trials. He was #28 Derby Dog in the Nation in 2022 with three trials before aging out. He qualified for Derby National in 2021 at 17 months old. He was QA2 in back to back weekends in 2022 at 2.6 years with 6 trials. Pete is currently running All Age and Amateur Field Trials. Pete is a phenomenal waterfowl dog who hunt November through February. (Stats from Retriever Results)  He was trained rained by Steadfast Retrievers as a young dog and is now trained by  Steenburgen Retrievers.  Sway is a beautiful chocolate bitch with a nice pedigree who runs the HRC. She is a HRCH and she hunts as a guide dog in Nebraska. She is a pleasure to have in the blind and in the home.  This pairing will produce dogs that can compete, hunt and be your buddy in black and chocolate. They are fully health tested.
